The staff of Danish District Heating Association consists of 26 people.

The secretariat is devided into the following sections

International unit

The international section takes care of international cooperation for Danish District heating Association and coordinates lobbying efforts aimed at the European Union and other international organisations. This work is carried out in close cooperation with the European organisation for district heating cooling Euroheat & Power

Member service and technical issues

Section staff provides councilling to members in technical, legal and economic fields

This service covers everything from questions regarding the circulars and guidelines issued by the association to specific advice on daily operations, tariffication, statutes etc. Section staff is also involved in the political lobbying carried out by Danish District Heating Association.

The section develops and manages the many training courses and meetings arranged by Danish District Heating Association.

It handles registration and execution of courses, meetings and events, together with accounting, member registration, reception desk, mailings, building administration and so on.

Communication and lobbying

The section coordinates lobbying efforts, services the board of directors and is responsable for communication.

This includes, among other things, responce to hearings in connection with legislative developments, relevant analyses and production of materials for the board of directors. The section furthermore produces the monthly magazine FJERNVARMEN (DISTRICT HEATING), various publications and maintains this website .
